1. Warranty

In accordance with Portuguese legislation, all Corkit products have a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, the product that presents a manufacturing defect will be repaired free of charge or will be replaced with a similar model if repair is not possible. The buyer must present the purchase invoice issued by Corkit with the item. Excluded from the warranty are materials subject to deterioration, oxidation, loss or misplacement, defects caused by inappropriate use, inadequate maintenance and cleaning, negligence, improper handling, modifications, unauthorized repairs, accidents or normal wear and tear. Products that have been repaired in workshops other than Corkit's lose the right to warranty. It will always be mandatory to present the purchase invoice. In the cases previously indicated, shipping costs are borne by the customer. You should contact our studio via email at shop@corkit.pt and they will respond with the procedures to follow.

 

2. Exchanges

The customer has a maximum of 14 days in which they can exchange for another item of equal or greater value, upon presentation of the invoice. To make the exchange, you must contact our studio via email at shop@corkit.pt who will respond with the procedures to follow. Exchanges will only be approved when they are unused parts, in their original packaging and with the corresponding purchase invoice.

The return and exchange of products must comply with the following conditions:

- Return of products in good condition, without any signs of use, with original and complete packaging, as well as the remaining elements that originally accompanied the product.

- Any exchange or return must be accompanied by the respective invoice.

- Sending the product to Corkit is the responsibility of the Customer, including costs, loss, damage that it may suffer during transport and delays.


Products personalized to the customer's taste, after approval, are not subject to exchange.

All products will be checked upon arrival at our studio and only those that comply with the exchange conditions will be accepted for exchange/return. Corkit reserves the right to not accept products that do not meet these conditions. All exchanges are only accepted for products of equal or greater value, with no cash refunds.

 

3. Orders

To place an order, select the products you want and add them to your shopping cart. Once your selection is complete, follow the store's instructions to complete your order. After placing your order, make sure you receive a confirmation email in the email box you used to place the order. If you have not received any email in your inbox, please check your Spam folder. After checking your spam box and, if the problem persists, please contact us via email at shop@corkit.pt. During the process, you will receive other notifications in your email regarding the status of your order.

Shipments are always made by Registered Mail. If the delivery is not successful and the item is returned to our studio, Corkit will send it again after contacting the customer. If delivery is not achieved due to the customer's responsibility, the customer will assume the new costs. For security reasons, we do not ship to PO Boxes.

 

4. Right of free resolution

The deadline for exercising the right to Free Resolution ends 14 days after purchasing the products. The Resolution decision must be communicated by email to shop@corkit.pt, accompanied by the buyer's details (Name, address, NIF, product name, reference, date of purchase) and respective invoice. In the event of a dispute, the consumer can contact the Lisbon Consumer Conflict Arbitration Center using the contact details below:

5. Payment methods

Payment terms and methods accepted by the Corkit online store:

- PayPal

- MBWAY (Only for Portugal)

- Bank transfer

 

6. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Orders are sent to:

- Registered Mail with “Registration number”, so you can conveniently track your order from the moment of dispatch until the moment of delivery.

After the day of dispatch, the usual delivery times are:

- 1 to 2 business days for mainland Portugal

- 3 to 5 business days for Islands

- 5 to 10 business days for International shipping

These deadlines are indicative in working days. The standard may be extended depending on transport limitations.

Orders only go into processing after payment has been made. You must send an email with proof of payment to shop@corkit.pt so that we can speed up the entire “payment accepted” process. You will receive a notification in your email as soon as the order is processed and the “payment is accepted”. Delivery times depend on the payment method and the location of delivery of the products. As we are an artisanal clothing atelier, we reserve the right, in the event of stock outages, to change the expected deadline. In this case, an email will be immediately sent indicating a new deadline. The delivery time for custom-made orders depends on stock availability, production and shipping times are usually 3 to 5 working days. However, due to festivities or times with a greater influx of orders, shipping times may take up to 15 working days. Online stock is merely indicative. If there is no stock: the purchase is processed, but the production deadlines mentioned above apply. Corkit is not responsible for delays, damages/losses related to the transport company, if your order is sent by Registered Mail the transport company will be contacted and held responsible for what happened.

 

7. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated depending on the weight of the order. The shipping cost will appear in the “cart” when completing your order. For reasons of greater security for both parties, we only ship by registered mail.

 

8. Customs duties and import taxes

Corkit has no control and is not responsible for possible costs that may be applied when an order arrives in the destination country, as it is not possible to predict the exact value of these fees due to different import policies and taxes. Prices displayed in the online store until the end of January 2023 are exempt from VAT. Customs and customs duties are set by the destination country and Corkit has no control over or responsibility for any delays or customs issues. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact your local customs authorities before placing your order.

 

9. Pricing

The values ​​shown on each product in the Corkit online store are the final values, to these values ​​are added the shipping costs that appear when completing your order in the shopping cart, as shipping costs are calculated depending on the weight of the e Devoluções products. .
